Mission STS-52
Columbia embarked on mission STS-52 in October 1992, launching NASA's LAGEOS-2 satellite into orbit and conducting a plethora of cutting-edge experiments inside its cargo bay. During the shuttle's 10-day flight, it travelled well over four million miles and circled the Earth a total of 159 times.

From space to strap
Following the successful touchdown of mission STS-52, Columbia's nose landing gear tyre was removed and decommissioned as part of routine maintenance. Built to survive atmospheric reentry and extreme landing forces, this remarkable feat of engineering is now preserved within your limited-edition Diatom strap.

Verified provenance
Every Columbia Shuttle Tyre Strap is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity documenting its origin in Space Shuttle Columbia's nose landing gear tyre and its journey aboard mission STS-52 — giving each owner complete peace of mind about the cosmic connection on their wrist.
